Fry - is the main character of the show, and as I mentioned above, an easy-going pizza-delivery boy. Matt Groening describes him as a "loser", but he probably means it more as the kind of role-model loser seen on so many sitcoms these days. He's voiced by Billy West. You may know him as both Ren and Stimpy. Also, he's voiced Bugs Bunny recently, since Mel Blanc's death and does a Jay Leno impression on the Howard Stern Show. Finally, he's the voice of the M&M's in the latest commercials! Judging by the variety of these voices, I'd say he's a pretty darn good voice actor.

Bender (Unit 22) - is a deranged robot, who basically seems to be out of the norm as far as uniform, monotone, Asimov-law-following robots go. Named after his intended job, a railway bar-bender, he'd much rather be a great chef. In his free time, he enjoys theft, drinking, gambling, and coin-operated prostitutes. Bender is voiced by John DiMaggio, who has had roles on Chicago Hope and Law and Order.

Leela - seems to be the most mysterious of the gang (not counting Dr. Fred, but we'll get to him...). We know that obviously she has one eye. Is that due to some evolutionary process? Maybe some of Mom's chemicals did this... that would certainly provide a good motive. We'll learn more about this perplexing character as news leaks out... Leela's voiced by Katey Sagal, also known as Peg Bundy on Married... With Children.

Dr. Farnsworth - is also known as "The Professor", Dr. Farnsworth is the elderly leader of the group. Not much is known about him, although he will not speak in a German accent as I offered previously. Who knows what interesting background he has? Was he around before the era of Mom? He is also voiced by Billy West, andso my comment above applies again.

Thanks goes to Greetings From The Year 3000!
